Accessibility features of AIBMS POS terminals:
- Traditional POS terminals have a dimple on the “5” key which allows for freedom of movement around the keyboard.
- All Clover and PAX devices with “Pin on Glass” come with a latex or plastic cover that fits over the terminal and includes a dimple on the number "5" key.
- There is an acceptance sound when a card is processed, a single beep for approval and a double beep for decline.
- All terminals deployed by AIB Merchant Services support Apple and Google Pay.
Terms and conditions
The merchant solutions outlined above are provided by AIB Merchant Services (AIBMS).
AIBMS is a trading name of First Merchant Processing (Ireland) D.A.C. (FMPI). FMPI is a subsidiary of First Data Global Services Limited which is a part of the wider Fiserv group of companies. FMPI is a separate legal entity from Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. (“AIB”) and is not part of AIB Group.
"AIB" and the AIB logo are the registered trademarks of Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. and are used by AIBMS under a brand agreement between, amongst others, AIB and FMPI.
AIB is not an agent of, or intermediary for, AIBMS. AIB and AIBMS have an exclusive commercial relationship under which AIB refers AIB customers that require merchant card acquiring services to AIBMS. As such, AIB will gather information required to submit referrals on behalf of each relevant AIB customer. Through this arrangement, AIB customers who are the subject of a referral will consent to their data being supplied by AIB to AIBMS.
Upon receipt of the referral, AIBMS will engage directly with each relevant AIB customer for the provision of their products and services. Referrals from AIB to AIBMS will result in AIB earning referral fees and/or additional income through an exclusive commercial agreement between AIB and AIBMS. AIB customers referred by AIB to AIBMS are under no obligation to contract with AIBMS.
AIB is not liable for any products or services provided by AIBMS. AIB has no authority or ability to bind AIBMS or negotiate or vary the products or services provided by AIBMS or the terms (including financial terms) on which those products or services may be delivered or enter into any contract on behalf of AIBMS or its affiliates.
